The Art Museum Information & Copyright Policies

An abstract view of the Virtual Art Museum on Roblox by InfinityBlot, The Art Museum

The Art Museum is the first virtual art museum to display real-world, user-created, and ai-generated artwork. Its curated collection of artwork allows you to learn about famous works of art while featuring the talents of Roblox users.

Learn about Van Gogh, view the works of Monet, and learn about artwork from around the world in one of the first virtual art museums on the metaverse. The opportunities to explore are endless with the Main, Claude Monet, Renaissance, MAE, AI, and User Galleries.

This educational experience is perfect for:

  • Educators
  • School Projects
  • Aspiring Artists

Submitting Artwork to The Art Museum

Users can submit artwork to The Art Museum by using the in-game form located by the leaderboard or by submitting artwork here. If a user submits artwork to the museum, it cannot be taken from the internet and must be created by the user. However, a user can request that a specific artist’s work be used in the museum, and we will do our best to gain permission to display that artwork.

Any submissions must abide by all Roblox TOS to be accepted. Submissions must be uploaded to Roblox as a Decal, and external links will not be accepted.

How to Upload Decals to Roblox

  1. First, go to https://create.roblox.com/dashboard/creations/upload?assetType=Decal.
  2. If necessary, sign in with a Roblox account, or create a new one.
  3. Upload your desired image by selecting “UPLOAD,” and select a supported image type. If your image is not supported by Roblox, you can find an online image converter. It is recommended to convert your image to PNG format for the best quality.
  4. Once your image is uploaded, you can press the blue “UPLOAD” button at the bottom of the webpage. If you go to https://create.roblox.com/dashboard/creations?activeTab=Decal, you can get the Decal ID and link to your artwork.
  5. Use the artwork submission form in-experience or online to submit the link to your artwork! We will do our best to let you know if your artwork is submitted. If you have a Roblox DevForum account, you will receive a message on the DevForum about your submission.
